Start of the Second Semester at TalTech – Bioceb Cohort 5

The Bioceb Cohort 5 students in Track 1 and 2 have officially kicked off their second semester at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) in Estonia. The semester began on January 29th, 2025 with orientation days designed to welcome the students and prepare them for the exciting semester ahead. These initial days were packed with activities, helping students settle into their new environment.

Adding to the welcoming atmosphere, ESN TalTech organized a memorable trip to Tallinn’s historic Old Town, where students explored its medieval streets, visited iconic landmarks, and explored the local culture.

A highlight from the beginning of the semester was the traditional GLPizza. A lively gathering where students presented their visions, plans and expectations for their Green Line Project (GLP). This seminar provided a valuable opportunity for the students to connect with their TalTech professors and supervisors, receiving insightful advice and guidance. And, of course, no GLPizza event would be complete without enjoying delicious local pizza!

Students also had the opportunity to meet Bioceb alumni, including Tommaso Tagliani from Cohort 1, Muhammad Khizar Naeem from Cohort 3, and Daniela Esquivel from Cohort 4, who shared their stories and offered firsthand advice.

As the semester unfolds, the Bioceb students at TalTech look forward to gaining new skills. The journey continues with fresh challenges, discoveries, and opportunities to contribute to the future of the bio-based economy.
